Guidance for Group Water Schemes regarding the Spread of COVID-19 Coronavirus

The National Federation of Group Water Schemes has prepared Advice Notes to all Group Water Schemes in light of the continuing spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

These documents have been circulated to all Group Water Schemes in County Leitrim and contains vital information on continuity of operation and managment of Group Water Schemes, preventing community transmission and protecting the water supply.

See below, a sample letter to be given to all essential workers who have to travel as part of the provision of essential services to a Group Water scheme. Group Water Schemes should adapt this letter and provide copies to all essential employees or subcontractors. Essential workers should carry this leter with them while travelling in the line of duty for a Group Water Scheme along with a form of identification.
